I hit my limit today

I think I hit my limit today.

One after another our glorious "leaders" saw the fire in LA as another opportunity to take hits at the state's leadership. It's the Sacramento Democrats problem for this...It's Gavin Newsom's policies that did that.

Well, what the hell have you done other than complain? Your sole goal clearly isn't to govern otherwise you would. No, you just use your time in office to behave as if every moment of every day is GOTV.

Leadership in this moment is promising and following through on legislation that addresses the insurance crisis because this is definitely going to affect that. Leadership in this moment is making certain public utilities don't see this as another opportunity to raise rates even higher than they are. Leadership in this moment is solid action on climate. Leadership in this moment is being there for your constituents and having enough respect for them and for their lives to never make their catastrophes about you and power.

So, to our graceless leaders with the gall to play politics during a disaster that has impacted so many in this state and will only make our insurance, utility, housing, and economic problems worse...maybe you win elections. Maybe you raise tons of money. But in this moment, your leadership is a spectacular failure.
